State land Affected By MRT Project will Be Redeemed

Jakarta Provincial Government is going to pay the state land affected by the construction of the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT). It is following the issuance of the decision of Agricultural and Spatial Planning Ministry/National Defense Agency (BPN).

We've coordinated with BPN, and its decision can already be paid

Jakarta Acting Governor, Sumarsono disclosed, the BPN has issued a decision that the state lands affected by MRT project must be paid. Previously, he had asked Minister of Agricultural and Spatial Planning, Sofyan Djalil to make a special rule about this matter.

"We've coordinated with BPN, and its decision can already be paid," he stated, at City Hall, Tuesday (12/6).

Central Gov Requested to Issue Policy About MRT Project

He assured, in the near future, will pay the lands. Thus it is hoped able to smoothen the MRT project in the future. "We'll pay the land as soon as possible," he stated.

Of 127 dispute lands for MRT, there are 34 plots of state land that should be paid. They are located at Lebak Bulus Station, Jl Fatmawati, Cipete, Jl Haji Nawi, and Block A.
